Shanghai se situe au sud-est de la Chine. C’est une très grande ville où il y a plus de 24 millions d’habitants. Dans la ville de Shanghai, il y a un grand fleuve qui s’appelle Huangpu. De l’autre côté de la rivière Huangpu, il y a plein de grandes tours modernes.
Shanghai is in the south-east of China. It’s a very big city with more than 24 million people. In Shanghai city, there is a big river called Huangpu. On the other side of the river Huangpu, there are lots of huge modern towers.

On voit des immeubles comme la Pearl Tower (la tour de la télévision), la Shanghai Tower (la plus haute tour de Shanghai, le deuxième plus haut gratte-ciel du monde), le Décapsuleur (c’est une grande tour avec un gros rectangle tout en haut).
We can look at buildings as the Pearl Tower (TV tower), Shanghai Tower (Shanghai highest tower, second highest in the World), the Bottle-Opener (it’s a huge tower with a hollowed rectangle at the top).
Les formes des immeubles / Buildings’ shapes
La Pearl Tower ressemble à une fusée. Le Décapsuleur a la forme d’un décapsuleur. Selon moi, près de la Pearl Tower, il y a un immeuble tout rond et doré qui ressemble à une bouteille de bière !
La Shanghaï Tower est grande et on a l’impression qu’elle tourne.
The Pearl Tower looks like a rocket. The Bottle-Opener has the shape of a bottle-opener. According to me, next to the Pearl Tower, there is a round and golden building that looks like a bottle of bier!
The Shanghai Tower is huge and it looks like it’s spinning around.
Le jour, on avait l’impression que les tours allaient nous tomber dessus si on les regardait d’en dessous.
During the day, we felt like towers were falling on us when we looked at them from behind.
Vues depuis le haut des immeubles / Views from the top of the buildings
Sur beaucoup d’immeubles, il y a des terrasses où l’on peut observer la vue. Il faut prendre un ticket d’entrée pour aller à l’observatoire qui se situe tout en haut de l’immeuble. Là, il n’y a pas de siège, donc il faut rester debout.
Ou bien, il y a d’autres tours où tout en haut il y a plusieurs cafés. Là, on commande une boisson et on va s’installer sur la terrasse où il y a des tables et des sièges.
La nuit, il y avait plein de lumières qui étaient allumées sur les tours.
On many buildings, there are terraces where you can look at the view. You have to buy an entrance ticket to go to the observatory which is located at the top of the building. There is no seat, so you have to stand up.
Or, there are other towers with cafes at their top. There, we order a drink and we can go on the terrace where there are tables and seats.
At night there were plenty of lights on the towers.
Les étages / Floors
La Pearl Tower n’a pas vraiment d’étages, elle a 3 grosses boules (2 grosses et une petite) qui sont allumées avec plein de petites ampoules multicolores.
La Shanghai Tower a 128 étages et le Décapsuleur en a 101.
The Pearl Tower does not really have floors, it has 3 large balls (2 large and one small) that are enlighten with lots of small multicolored lights.
The Shanghai Tower has 128 floors and the Bottle Opener has 101.

La première fois que je suis allé à Shanghaï (tes parents avaient 11 ans), il n’y avait pas une seule tour de ce côté du fleuve seulement des marécages!
Ils commençaient juste la construction de la Pearl Tower!
On doit se sentir tout petit à côté de ces grandes tours!
C’est impressionnant !
C’est amusant. Ton grand cousin Florian est passé à Shanghai il y a quelque mois lors de son voyage. Il a lui aussi mis sur son blog des photos des tours de cette ville.
